B illy Bernhardt opened Bernhardt Funeral Home,Inc. in 1962 at 68 River Street in Ellijay operating in that location until 1974, he built the present facility across the street from the old location where it remains today.


During this time, the business has grown to be one of the most respected funeral homes in North Georgia.
