Mr. Ricardo Alex Perez, age 25 of Ellijay, passed away on Monday, March 20 ^th , 2023 at the Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.

Mr. Perez was born on July 19 ^th , 1997 in Cherokee County. He was a painter and enjoyed attending Hardscrabble Baptist Church. When he wasn't working, Mr. Perez loved being outdoors, hunting, and riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, but his greatest love was fishing.

He is survived by his loving mother and step-father, Chrystal and Bobby Bramlett of Ellijay; grandparents, Larry and Brenda Kirkland of Ellijay; sister, Madison Perez of Ellijay; step-brothers, Tyler Goforth of Ellijay; step-sisters, Lynn Mulkey and Amber Bramlett both of Ellijay; as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 27 ^th , 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Bro. Jamey Bramlett officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include: Cody Stone, Brett Smith, Matt Kirkland, Tyler Corn, Alex Colwell, and Whitt Barnes.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 26 ^th , 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
