Mr. Alfred Lee Pierce, age 98 of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, January 21 ^st , 2022, at The Oaks in Ellijay, GA.

Mr. Pierce was born on January 15 ^th , 1924, to the late Guy W. Pierce and Cora Silver Pierce. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Melenese Davis; one son, Larry Pierce; Grandson; Jason Pierce, brothers; Otto, Frank, Clyde, Sam, Wilbert, and Gene Pierce; two sisters, Mary Nell Troglin and Estelle Southerland. Mr. Pierce was a Veteran of The United States Army, having served during World War II. Mr. Pierce was retired from Schneider Electric Company.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky and Calvin Pierce of Ellijay, GA; two brothers, Wallace and Waldo Pierce of Ellijay, GA; one sister, Helen Greer of Ellijay; one grandson, Josh Pierce of Ellijay; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday January 23 ^rd , 2022 , at 2 PM with Rev. Rickey Jarrett to be officiating from the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday January 22 ^nd , 2022, from 5 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
