Mr. Allan Charles Brown, age 78 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Brown was born on January 18th, 1945, in Chester, PA, to the late George Delmar Brown and Virginia Inez Hottle Brown. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, receiving a Master's of Divinity. Mr. Brown worked as a commercial glazing contractor. He was of the Christian faith. Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Joyce Ann Boyd Brown; two sons, Allan Charles Brown, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN and Ethan Carter (Tippa) Brown of Knaresborough, England; four daughters, Michele Donaho of Tunnel Hill, Bridget Beasley of Los Angeles, CA, Carrie Brown of Atlanta, and Rachel Marya Brown (Patrick) Kuczynski of Tallahassee, FL; brother, David (Louisa) Brown of Spring, TX; sister, Lorraine (Charles) Frick of Virginia; four grandchildren, Veronica Kuczynski, Juliet Kuczynski, Blaire Brown, and Esther Brown; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

To honor his wishes, Mr. Brown will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 3rd at 2:00 PM from Covenant Community Church with Rev. Steve Fields officiating. The church will be providing a meal, at 12:45 PM, before the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child @ Covenant Community Church, in memory of Mr. Allen Brown.
