Mr. Andrew Patten Reece, Jr., age 76 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mr. Reece was born on April 7th, 1948 in Ellijay, GA to the late Andrew Patten Reece, Sr. and the late Mae Belle (McBryar). He was of the Baptist faith and proudly served our nation in the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ike Reece, Lewis Reece, Roy Reece, Fuller Reece, and Charles Reece, and sisters, Ella Mae Reece, Minnie Reece, Inez Reece, and Wancie Reece.

Andrew is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Elijah (Amber Nicole) Reece of Ellijay; brother, Woodrow Reece of Smyrna, GA; sister, Shirley Dailey of Resaca, GA, and four grandchildren, Elijah Reece II, Andrew Reece, Savannah Reece, and Olivia Reece also survive.

Mr. Reece will be cremated and his remains interred in an urn vault on the same property upon which he was born and resided for most of his life with no services planned at this time.
