Mrs. Angela Darlene Satterfield Wood, age 59 of Ellijay, passed away on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA.

Angela was born on May 30th, 1964 in Whitfield, County to the late Lafayette Satterfield and the late Martha Sue Milton Satterfield. She was of the Baptist faith. Angela was a wonderful wife and mother and loved her family. She was a very caring person and always offered a helping hand. She loved collecting Holiday Barbies, camping, and going to flea markets.  Angela always put God first in her life. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Wood; son, Cody Satterfield of Dalton, GA, and one brother, Anthony Satterfield also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 15th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Scrougetown Church Cemetery with Rev. Russell Hood  and Rev. Michael Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to help with the final funeral expenses.
