Mrs. Annie Lou Teems, age 84 of Sautee Nacoochee, GA, passed away on Friday, March 21st, 2025 at the North East Georgia Medical in Gainesville, GA.

Mrs. Teems was born on January 30th, 1941 in Ellijay, GA. She attended Antioch Baptist Church in Dawsonville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Teems is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Dewey Teems; five brothers, two sisters, and great-granddaughter, Stormie Rain Trammell.

Annie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie (James) Welch of Cleveland, GA; sister, Lesa Martin of Ellijay, GA; seven grandchildren; TJ Trammell, Megan Bennett, Nick Ridings, Juan Ortiz, Anna Ortiz, Melissa Cox, and Jamie Welch, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mrs. Teems will be held on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Rickett and Rev. Danny Ray. Graveside Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as pall bearers: TJ Trammell, Ronald Oliverio, Nick Ridings, Jamie Welch, Juan Ortiz, and Jonathan Martin.

The family will receive friends here at the Bernhardt Funeral Home on Monday, March 24th , 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Food and Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Annie Lou Teems.
