Mr. Bennie Ardel McClure, age 61 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, May 18th, 2026.

Mr. McClure was born on January 15th, 1965 in Ellijay, GA to the late Arvil Bennie McClure and Fannie Ruby Patterson McClure. He was a graduate of Fannin County High School, Class of 1983, and was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and later worked as a lead person for Pilgrims for many dedicated years. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and willingness to help others whenever he could. He loved his family dearly and treasured the time spent with them. In his spare time, he enjoyed the simple things in life, especially spending time outdoors, fellowshipping with friends, and making memories with those he loved most. He will be remembered for his caring spirit, loyalty, and the love he shared with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McClure is preceded in death by his wife Pamela Roberts, one brother, Donald McClure, and one sister, Nellie McClure.

He is survived by his two sons, Lindsay McClure and Andrew McClure; step-daughter, Katherine Garrett; three brothers, William McClure, John McClure, and Jason McClure, and two sisters, Abby Swinson and Amy McClure.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Cross Roads Christian Fellowship in Ellijay, GA with Rev. Richard Jones officiating.
