Ms. Barbara Elaine Rackley, age 47 of Copperhill, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 at the Hospice of Chattanooga.

Ms. Rackley was born on October 11th, 1975 in Dalton, GA to Jerry Rackley and Linda Cardd Rackley. She was a member of the Coletown Baptist Church. Mrs. Rackley was a loving, kind, caring, and genuine person. She loved kids, animals, and especially her dog, Teddy.

Survivors include her father and mother, Jerry and Linda Rackley of Copperhill; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda (Billy) Waters of Copperhill and Jennifer (Chris) Davis of Mineral Bluff; six nephews, Caleb Waters, Robert Waters, David Waters, Kaden Waters, Derek Davis, and Creed Davis; one niece, Caylee Davis; cousin, Judy Morrison, and her loving dog, Teddy also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Waters and Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. The gentlemen serving as pallbearers will include: Tyler Nichols, Brandon Sutton, Gary Waters, William Newton, Caleb Waters, Robert Waters, Eric Waters, and Jamie Cardd.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.

Food and flowers will be accepted in memory of Ms. Barbara Elaine Rackley. However, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with the final expenses.
