Mr. William "Bill" Franklin Beavers, age 92 of Ellijay, passed away Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Beavers was born on November 24th, 1930 in Yukon, West Virginia to the late Claude Beavers and the late Edith Cooper Beavers. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and loved to fish, golf, and spend time with his grandkids. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beavers is preceded in death by son, Michael Beavers; brother, Robert Beavers; sisters, Doris Jean Houston and Joan Williams.

Survivors include his loving wife, Geneva Beavers; son, William Joseph Beavers; daughters and son-in-law, Becky (Mike) Montgomery and Carole Callicutt; 5 grandchildren, Christopher (Samantha) Beavers, Lesli Beavers, Sarah (Andy) Walter, Eric (Natalie) Montgomery, and Brian Callicutt, and 5 great-grandchildren also survive

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 24th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 24th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of noon.
