Mr. William Franklin "Billy" Tipton, Jr., age 65 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Friday, September 19th, 2025 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA.

Mr. Tipton was born on February 16th, 1960 in Ellijay, GA to the late Bill Franklin Tipton and the late Clara Eaton Tipton. Mr. Tipton was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church in Ellijay and loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia "Pat" Boring.

He is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Rhonda) Tipton and David (Vickie) Tipton both of Ellijay, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

To honor Mr. Tipton's wishes, he will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. He will be interred in the Yukon Cemetery at a later date.
