Mr. Bobby Ray Lowery, age 75, of Ellijay, passed away on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, at his residence.

Bobby was born September 8th, 1950, in McCaysville, GA, the son of the late Jesse Henry Lowery and Lena Payne Lowery. He was a concrete man; he worked in the concrete business as an owner and operator at Lowery’s Concrete. He was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Bobby was preceded in death by his father Jesse Henry Lowery; his mother, Lena Lowery; daughter, Miranda Devon Lowery; brothers, Jack Lowery, Junior Lowery, and Roger Lowery; sisters, Leitha Mae Lowery, Joann Bennett, and Martha Painter.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Norma Lowery, his daughter Sabrina Sullivan (Joey), his son Jason Lowery (Stefanie), sister; Lula Bell Beard (Jes), grandchildren Rachel Brewer (Kyle), Ben Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan (Morgan), David Sullivan, Asher Sullivan, Isaiah Sullivan, Blakely Lowery, Madeline Lowery, and Wilson Lowery, great grandchildren, Arianna Hicks, AnnEliese Hicks, and William Ray Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Joe Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The United States Army will render Final Military honors. Pallbearers will be Norman Chastain, Jason Lowery, Blakely Lowery, Ben Sullivan, David Sullivan and Asher Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Cardd, Donnie Newton, Patrick Sullivan and Isaiah Sullivan.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Wednesday, August 19th, from 9:00 am until the service hour of 4:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Flowers and Food will be accepted in memory, or a memorial contribution can be made to the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery fund in memory of Mr. Bobby Lowery.
