Mr. Bobby Lee Newton, age 74 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 26 ^th , 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Newton was born on September 25 ^th , 1947 in Gilmer, County to the late Arthur Newton and Leola Worley Newton. Mr. Newton worked in construction where he was employed by Ruel Hice and proudly served our country in Vietnam in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his four brothers, Eugene Newton, Herbert Newton, Bill Newton, and Ernest Newton, and one sister, Mae Bell Hice.

Survivor's include: his wife, Aletha Hedden Newton; son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Mandy Newton of Hiawassee, GA; three daughters, Charley and Tonya Boyd, Lisa Newton, and Mary Newton all of Ellijay, GA; 16 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren also survive.

A Private Memorial Service will be held on July 5th, 2022 at 12:30 PM from the Georgia National Cemetery.
