Mrs. Brenda Ann Dockery Goble passed at her family home in Ellijay on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Brenda was born September 24, 1946, in Gilmer County to the late Matthew Dockery and Margaret Chadwick Dockery.

Brenda loved country music and loved dancing. She also loved to travel, especially to Colorado. Brenda loved her family and being with them. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband Roy "Ed" Goble of Ellijay; mother, Margaret Dockery of Dalton; son, Kenneth Payne (Melissa) of Marble Hill; daughters, Lesa Walker (Doug) of Zebulon, GA., and Sha Lee Floyd of Ellijay; brother Ricky Dockery (Regina) of Ellijay; and sister, Linda Gail Franklin (Joey) of Dalton, four grandchildren, Glenn Floyd (Susan) Montgomery AL, Bre Floyd (Andrew) Montgomery AL, Matthew Walker (Chelsey) and Jeremy Payne. Thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Brenda's wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
