Mr. Bruce Wayne Stevens, age 73 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Stevens was born on October 24, 1952, in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late George Ford Stevens and Madeline Patterson Stevens. A man of strong faith and devotion, he was of the Catholic faith and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He will be remembered for his patriotism, kindness, and the love he shared with his family and friends throughout his life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Mrs. Sharon Stevens of Ellijay, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jason Wayne (Renee) Stevens of Atlanta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren Marie (Lance) Noviski of Johns Creek, GA; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Calvin (Ashleigh) Benson of South Carolina; two brothers and sister-in-law, Russell Stevens of North Carolina and William (Susan) Stevens of New Jersey; sister, Patricia Parker of Hamilton, N.J., and six grandchildren, Elise, Isla, Gwenevere, Vivian, Arthur, and Jayde.

A Graveside Service to honor the life of Mr. Stevens will be held on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Yukon Cemetery with Rev. Luis Alvarez officiating. The United States Army will render final military rites and present the flag.

In lieu of food and flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gilmer County Animal Shelter @ 4152 Highway 52 East Ellijay, GA 30540 and/or Homeward Bound Pet Rescue in memory of Mr. Bruce Wayne Stevens.
