Mr. Buddy Terry Lowe, age 84 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 at his home.

Buddy was born on June 27th, 1940 in Marietta, GA to the late Orlando Buckum Lowe and the late Sara Jeanette Pafford Lowe. He was an Information Tech for Lockhead Martin and in the United States Air Force Reserve. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1958 and went on to obtain an Associate Degree in Science at Kennesaw College, then a Business Degree at Georgia State, and finally a Computer Science Degree at Chattahoochee Technical College. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lowe is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lowe.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Smith Lowe of Ellijay, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Melissa (Rob) Porter of Marietta, GA and Tina Lowe of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Makenna Boling and Matthew Boling; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald (Kris) Lowe of Calhoun, GA; brothers-in-law, Phillip Smith and Chris Smith, and his two beloved dogs, Boswell and Cooper also survive.

To honor Mr. Lowe's wishes, he will be cremated and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
