Mr. Byron Keith Jackson, age 68 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 at his residence.

Byron was born on September 19, 1955 in LaFayette, Georgia to the late Jimmy Jackson and the late Eddie Genelle Hilburn Jackson. He was a carpet mill worker and ran heavy equipment. Mr. Jackson proudly served our nation in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jean Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Travis Jackson and Elizabeth Nicole Webb; two brothers, Jimmy Max (Lisa) Jackson and Jeryl Don (Debbie) Jackson, and 2 grandchildren, Silas Keith Jackson and Tobias Jarold Jackson also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 27th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Yukon Cemetery.  The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:40 a.m.
