Carol Lynn McCoy, age 64 of Ellijay, passed away on Monday, December 1st, 2025, at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.

Carol was born on February 9th, 1961, the daughter of the late Troy McCoy and Judith Barrett Bingell and Melvin. She worked at Pilgrims as a poultry quality control inspector. She enjoyed gardening, and she loved her animals, especially her dog Meko. Carol enjoyed being with her much-loved family. She will be greatly missed.

She is also preceded in death by her Shelby McCoy, Sharon McCoy, and Mary McCoy

She is survived by her husband, Riley Elmer Beaver; daughter, Amanda Beaver, Sisters, Patty Brannon and Kelli McCoy; 8 grandchildren, Breanna, Sabrina, Emma, Raina, Hunter, Jackson, Brooklyn, and Riley; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Her wishes were to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
