Ms. Carole Lynn Hamm Wright, age 77 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 at the Oaks of Ellijay.

Carole was born on August 24th, 1947 to the late Thomas Haygood Hamm and Kittie Constance Bass Hamm. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Carole had a deep love for cooking, cherished her family dearly, and found great joy in traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her two sons, Greg Wright of Talking Rock, GA and Jeff Wright of Ellijay, GA; two grandchildren and their spouses, Austin (Jill) Wright and Daisy (Brandon) Luther; two great-grandchildren, Anniston Wright and River Luther, and a host of friends at the Oaks of Ellijay and others also survive.

A Joint Memorial Service honoring the lives of Ms. Carole Wright and Mr. Jeff Wright will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. John Reece officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 8th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.
