Mrs. Carolyn Jean Harbin, age 88 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, August 1 ^st , 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Harbin was born on April 6 ^th , 1934 in Gastonia, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Leonard Fain and Anna Mae Gaddis. Mrs. Harbin was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Canton, GA and was employed by Boddy Nursing Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Harbin of Canton, GA.

Survivor's include: her two sons, Charles Holt and Eddie Holt of Ellijay, GA; two daughters, Alice Faye Southern of Ellijay, GA and Juanita Criddle of Canton, GA, and five grandchildren also survive.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 6 ^th , 2022 at 3:15 p.m. from the the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Pallbearers will include: Cody Ratcliff, Tyler Ratcliff, Brannon Holt, Tony Davis, Jamie Davis, Tim Gaddis, and Chris Cantrell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6 ^th , 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
