LONG

Ms. Carolyn Joan Long age 79 of Cherry Log, GA, passed away August 19, 2024.

Ms. Long was born August 30, 1944, in Gilmer County, to the late Henry Long and Margaret Aaron Long. Ms. Long was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Ms. Long is preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Davenport, sister, Anne Breeden, and brother, James Long.

Survivors Include her daughter, Cyndi Brown (Corey), of Norcross, GA; sister, Sue Burgess, of Cherry Log, GA; 1 Grandchild, John (Stacy) Morrison; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Emery and John Morrison.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 24th at 3 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Watkins and Rev. Phillip Davenport, Jr. Interment will follow in the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24th from 1 pm until the service hour at 3 pm at the funeral home.
