Mrs. Carolyn Annette Ray Corson age 76, of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Mrs. Corson was born on December 15, 1947, to the late Bill Ray and Tina Ray. She worked at the Burnt Mountain Center and was a member of the Berean Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Corson is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Corson, her sister, Fama Bunch, and brother Hoyt Ray.

She is survived by her son, James Robert Corson, of Ellijay; sister, Mary Nell Milton, of Marietta, GA; nephew, Freddie Ray, of Ellijay, GA and her special friend Nancy Haymond.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 12th at 2 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Kelly officiating. Serving as pallbears; Mike Chadwick, Ted Milton and Freddy Ray.  Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 12th from 11 am until the service hour at 2 pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
