Charlcie Goble Brewer, age 95, of Ellijay passed away on Wednesday, August 19th 2026 at Northside Hospital in Cumming. She was born September 8, 1930 to the late Jack Goble and Rosetta Padgett Goble. Charlcie was a member at Shady Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Charlcie is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Brewer, as well as her twelve siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Herman “Bug” (Stella) Brewer of Ellijay and Bobby (Linda) Brewer of Ellijay; daughters Joyce Clark of Jasper and Hellen (Stephen) Bynum of Chatsworth, along with nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great-grandchildren

Jarod Whitmore, Parker Brewer, Kyle Brewer, Scott Clark, Derek Brewer, and Tucker Clark will serve as Pallbearers

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 23 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Ellington and Rev. Vince Goble officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22nd from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Sunday, August 23rd from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm at Bernhardt Funeral Home.
