Mr. Charles William Cook, age 84 of Ellijay, passed away on Monday, August 7th, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Cook was born on January 21st, 1939 in Marietta, GA to the late Jesse James Cook and Ruby Hollifield Cook. He was a contractor and a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Cook.

Survivors include his four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles W. and Peggy Cook of Canton, Andrew Watson and Rachel of Canton, James Lee and Terez Cook of Canton, and Douglas Gregory and Cindy Cook of Ellijay; 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 12th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay with Rev. Josh Moyers, Rev. Dale Land, and Rev. Scott Eaton officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. The gentlemen serving as pallbearers will include Jordon Cook, Calloway Cook, Cooper Cook, Coleman Cook, Chaz, Jesse Cook, and Robbie Cook.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 11th, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food and Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mr. Charles Cook.
