Mr. Charles Rider, age 88 of Ellijay, passed away on Monday January 24 ^th , 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Rider was born in Copper Hill, TN on August 12 ^th , 1933 to the late Charlie Rider and Delvia Ferrell Rider. Mr. Rider was a U.S Veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was a member of Harvest Missionary Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Rider (Nicholas); two step-daughters, Debbie Carden and Kathy Kasias; three brothers, Ervin Rider (Carol), Lloyd Rider (Betty), and Carl Joe Rider; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 29 ^th , 2022 at 11 AM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. Interment will be in Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 28 ^th from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
