Mr. Charles Allen Swinamer, age 56 of Ellijay, passed away on Saturday, February 19 ^th , 2022 at Northside Cherokee Hospital.

Mr. Swimaner was born on November 26 ^th , 1965 to late Charles Allen Swinamer and Patricia Bettencourt Swinamer. Charles was one of the greatest mechanics in north Georgia and truthfully could fix anything, no matter what it was. For those who were lucky enough to call him friend he was always willing to lend a hand and his expertise. Charles was a friend to many as well as a father figure to his son's friends and his co-workers. He was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church where he will be remembered there for his kind heart and his biscuits and gravy.

Survivors include his son, Austin Charles Swinamer (Kate); mother, Patricia Swinamer; one brother, Joseph Swinamer; one sister, Cheryl Swinamer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 25 ^th , 2022 at 11 AM in the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Rev. Carlos Vargas officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Ritchie Boysen, Tom McGill, Mike Dyer, Roy Kelley, Don Moss, and Leonard Prevatte.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 24 ^th from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gilmer County FFA Program.
