Mrs. Cheryl Deneen Aaron, age 59 of Ellijay, passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 6th, 2023.

Cheryl was born to Roy and Evelyn Mervyn in Sioux Center Iowa on January 9, 1964. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Mervyn; her mother Evelyn Dionne Mervyn; sister, Linda Briscoe; brother, Mike Mervyn; niece, Tomi Briscoe, and her latest husband, Eugene Aaron II.

She has 3 remaining siblings, Peggy (Pete) Christianson from Townsend, Ken (Kari) Mervyn from Wabeno, and Bill (Elizabeth) Mervyn from Ellijay. She is further survived by her six children, Steven (Amanda) Cross, Amanda (Brittany) McGinnis, Melisa (Crissy) Clines, Emily (Steven) Beaver, Alyson (Jimmy) Mccoy, and Eugene Aaron.

She was ill for many of her last years with COPD and ALS. She loved her children and many grandchildren and always lived a simple life. She also loved dolphins, hummingbirds, bears, and visiting the beach.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June the 3rd from 12 pm-4 pm at the Tails Creek Community Clubhouse. 75 Crossroads Church Road, Ellijay, GA 30540.
