Mrs. Cheryl Lee Mayfield Mulkey, age 66 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Friday, September 18th, 2026.

Mrs. Mulkey was born on August 2, 1960, in Savannah, Georgia, to the late Hugh Clifford Mayfield and the late Audrey Crooke Mayfield. She was of the Christian faith and had a warm, joyful spirit that she freely shared with those around her. She loved all kinds of plants and especially enjoyed gardening, thrift shopping, and crafting. She had a special way of finding joy in the simple things and loved creating fun and lasting memories with her family. More than anything, Mrs. Mulkey treasured time spent with those she loved, especially her grandchild, Evelyn, who brought tremendous joy to her life. Her love for her family was evident in the happiness, laughter, and care she poured into them.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mulkey is preceded in death by her sister, Rose Dawson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Mr. Tim Mulkey of Ellijay, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Myles (Amber) Mulkey of Ellijay, GA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam (Mary) Mayfield of Surprise, AZ, Phillip (Reah) Mayfield of Cheyenne, WY, and Michael (Paula) Mayfield of Ellijay, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy Mock of Cobb Town, GA and Cynthia (Mike) Roberson of Ellijay, GA; her granddaughter, Evelyn Mulkey, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

To honor Mrs. Mulkey's wishes, she will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
