Mr. Christopher "Chris" Eugene Waddell, age 58 of Ellijay, passed away on Monday, April 15th, 2024 at the Northside Atlanta Hospital.

Chris was born on February 14th, 1966 to the late Harold Waddell and the late Barbara Tilley Waddell. He proudly served our nation in the United States Navy and was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Clay (Hayley) Waddell; daughter and son-in-law, Hannah (Kamron) Engler; sister and brother-in-law, Tonya (Richard) Hughes; six grandchildren, Trent Engler, Liam Waddell, Dallas Waddell, Reyna Engler, Nash Waddell, and Nala Waddell; nephews, Bo (Kim) Hughes and Taylor Hughes, and extended Waddell and Tilley family.

A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. from the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay.
