Mr. Christopher Warren Jones, age 61 of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, October 28 ^th , 2022 at the Northside Cherokee Hospital.

Mr. Jones was born on August 22 ^nd , 1961 in Gilmer County to the late Warren Jones and Anna Ruth Payne Jones. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Gilmer High School and was a small business owner, welder, and fabricator. He was an avid outdoorsman with a love for hunting, fishing, and camping. Mr. Jones loved the Lord was a member of the East Ellijay Baptist Church.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Christin and Corey Smith and Jordan and CJ Reece, son and daughter-in-law, Chandler and Chasiti Jones; three sisters and brother-in-laws, Linda and Don Crider, Janie and Roger Kincaid, and Claudia and David Townley; and a devoted Papaw to his three grandchildren, Savannah Simmons, Hadley Smith, and Easton Reece also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 1 ^st , 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jess Posey and Rev. Chad Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the East Ellijay Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Mark Cochran, James Wishon, Brian Hulsey, Kelly McGee, Jeff Motes, and Chris "Scooter" Hazelwood.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1 ^st , 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mr. Christopher Jones.
