Mr. Clarence Waldo Wheeler, age 71 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 27 ^th , 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Wheeler was born on December 16 ^th , 1950 in Gilmer County to the late Clifford Wheeler and Pearle Hollifield Wheeler. He was employed by the Shaw Textile Mill and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sara Lynn Bramlett Wheeler.

Survivors include: two son, John Bramlett and Billy Roy Wheeler both of Ellijay, GA; two daughters, Vivian Gayton of Ellijay, GA, and Teresa Elaine Garrett of Dawsonville, GA; 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 1 ^st , 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Shelton, Rev. Chris Garrett, and Rev. Tony Holtzclaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 1 ^st , 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be accepting flowers; however, they respectfully ask that no food be brought to the funeral home.
