Mr. Clines Newsome, Jr., age 58 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Newsome was born on May 29th, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clines Newsome and Vonda Lou Flannery Newsome. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Ellijay, GA. Clines loved to hunt, fish, and ride his motorcycle. In addition to his father, Clines is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Linda Newsome, and one great-grandchild, Annie Young.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tersa Lee Tackett Newsome; mother, Vonda Newsome; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda (Rico) Spangler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Delbert, Newsome, Noah (Melinda) Newsome and Paul (Tammy) Newsome; four grandchildren, Autumn, Tanner, Keirsten, Aidan; one great-grandchild, Zoie, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Hensley officiating. Following the service, Mr. Clines will be cremated.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2nd, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
