Mr. Crate Hollis Weaver, age 65 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Friday, April 22rd, 2022.

Mr. Weaver was born in Gilmer County on November the 21st, 1956 to the late Crate and Lexie Weaver. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Tickanetly Primitive Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Elder Crate Weaver and mother, Lexie Weaver; brother, Herbert Weaver, and sister, Cathy Hyatt.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Hollie and John Davis of Ellijay; two sons, Matthew Weaver of Ellijay and Aaron Weaver of Ellijay; one brother, Hugh Weaver of Ellijay; four sisters, Joyce Williams of Dalton, Doris Rutledge of Dalton, Dorothy Weaver of Ellijay, and Judy Wright of Ellijay; and four grandchildren, Rylan Davis, Lexxi Weaver, Piper Davis, and Lacci Weaver all of Ellijay.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Tickanetly Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Kelly Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Tickanetly Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Scott Weaver, Jason Weaver, Doug Hyatt, Michael Hyatt, Zachary Wright, and Joe Williams. Honorary Pallbearers include: John Davis, Nick Rutledge, Tommy Williams, Jacob Wright, and L.E. Parks.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1st, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted; however, the family respectfully asks and prefers that donations be made to Mr. Weaver's grandchildren via PayPal @ hollie@ellijay.com or Venmo @Hollie-Davis-25 in memory of Mr. Weaver.
