Ms. Brenda Darlene Hopkins, age 59 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Monday, December 9th, 2024 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA.

Darlene was born on July 12th, 1965 in Forsyth County to the late Johnson "Grady" Hopkins, Jr. and Anna Jean Nations Hopkins .

She is survived by her son; Bradley Dupree of Ellijay; mother, Jean Hopkins of Ellijay; brother and sister-in-law, Josh (Rachel) Hopkins of Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela (Mitchell) Wilson of Ellijay; two grandchildren, Eli Bradley Dupree and Natalie Faith Dupree; and significant other: Ricky Teague of Ellijay.

To honor Ms. Hopkins's wishes, she will be cremated and inurned in the Yukon Cemetery at a later date.
