Obituary

Mr. Dave Frank Stanley, age 80 of Talking Rock, GA, passed away on Monday, June 16th, 2025, at the Wildwood Health Care Center.

Mr. Stanley was born on January 18th, 1945, in Aska Ga to the late Joseph Ted Stanley and Georgia Jones Stanley. He was a retired maintenance manager from Pilgrim's Pride and was a member of the Welcome Valley Baptist Church. Dave was also a member of E.W. Hightower masonic lodge #679. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Mae Shipman Stanley, his son, Joseph Burton Stanley.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, April and Jeff Welch, and Faith and Zeb McAllister; brother, Bobby Stanley; five grandchildren, Adam (Haleigh) Strickler, Allison Strickler, Abigail Wright, Ava Wright, and Fiona McAllister; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Stover, Pastor Greg Meadows, and Rev. Marvin Shipman officiating. The Partin family will be conducting music. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Bartow County.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 20th, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday from 9:00 am until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

Flowers and food will both be accepted in memory of Mr. Dave Stanley.

Bernhardt Funeral Home of Ellijay is in charge of the arrangements.
