David Wesley Alexander, age 58, passed away at his residence in Ellijay, GA, on October 28, 2024. Born on March 7, 1966, David dedicated over 35 years of his life working with unwavering commitment for Pilgrims, where his intelligence and work ethic were greatly valued.

David was a beacon of kindness, known for his loving nature and remarkable intelligence. A devoted father, he instilled in his family the values closest to his heart: hard work, compassion, and the enduring importance of kinship.

His life was a testament to the unwavering love he had for his family. Those fortunate enough to know David will remember him as a pillar of strength and generosity.

David's extraordinary spirit and legacy will live on through the cherished memories held by his friends, colleagues, and beloved relatives. His passing leaves us with profound sorrow, yet we honor a life beautifully lived and filled with innumerable contributions to those he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Alexander; mother, Brenda Alexander; sisters, Lyn Alexander Vick and Dawn Alexander Haim; paternal grandparents, JB and Ruth Motes Alexander; and maternal grandparents, John E. and Gladys Moss Chastain.

David is survived by his daughters, Tiffani Mathis (Kris) and Brittney Kidd (William); sister, Dee Alexander Cain (Allan); nine grandchildren, Chandler, JB, Gracie, Bryson, Macie, Riley, Chloe, Peyton, and Sayler; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Bernhardt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Chastain and Rev. Joey Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bernhardt Funeral Home prior to the service on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers are Chandler Pruitt, JB Sanford, Bryson Pruitt, Peyton Jones, Clinton Sanford, Daniel Jones, Layne Chastain, and Mark Chastain.
