ROGERS

Mr. David Anthony Rogers age 55 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Mr. Rogers was born in Gilmer County on April 19, 1969, to the late Claude Rogers and Mary Davis Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a member of Turniptown Baptist Church in Ellijay, GA, and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and anything to do with old antique cars. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Rogers.

Survivors Include his wife, Nancy Rogers, of Ellijay, GA; daughters, Natasha Hancock, of Ellijay, Chrissie Rogers, of Jasper, and Savannah Davis Rogers, of Ellijay; brother, Curtis Rogers, of Ellijay; sister, Juanita Bradburn, of Blue Ridge; 6 grandchildren, Keilee Nelson, Koltlee Nelson, Kristopher Nelson, Kade Hancock, Johnathan Hancock and Lyle Rivers; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 16th at 2 pm from the Jesus Church Cemetery on Big Creek Road with Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. Pallbearers will be Curtis Rogers, Benny Frady, Eugene Payne, Ricky Grizzle, Benny Rogers, Clay Walker and Nathan Nelson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am until 1:30 pm.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final funeral expenses.
