Deborah Jean Daves Cylke, age 64 of Cougar Lane, Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, at her residence with loved ones by her side.

Mrs. Cykle was born December 6th, 1960, in Jasper, GA, to the late Howard Daves and Betty Vick. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Craig ''Grizzly'' Cylke. She was a member of the Murphy Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and formally of the Flat Creek Baptist Church, Ellijay, GA.  She was also the co-director of the Ellijay Wildlife Rehab Sanctuary with her husband, Craig '' Grizzly'' Cylke.

Survivors include son, Jonathan Cylke (Debbie), of Ellijay, Daughter, Rachael Cylke, Bowling Green KY, brothers; Dwayne Daves, of Ellijay, Mitchell Daves, of Ellijay, and Clarence Lamar Keener, of Ellijay grandchildren; MaeLynn Bentjen, Caleb Mullnax, and Ben Mullnax. And several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Cylke will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. With Mark Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Ellijay Wildlife Rehab Sanctuary. Pallbearers will be Elizabeth Miller, Selena Cole, Mei-Ling Schoeneman, MaeLynn Bentjen, Becky Stiles, Cheryl Schoeneman, and Tina Teague.

The family will meet with friends on Saturday, May 10th, from 9:00 am until the funeral hour of 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

Flowers and food will both be accepted, or donations can be made to any Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Cylke.
