Mrs. Dee Weaver, age 89 of Ellijay, passed away peacefully on Friday January 14 ^th , 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Gilmer County on April 9 ^th , 1932 to the late Robert Stover and Rosa Cochran Stover. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Weaver. She was a homemaker and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Bill Sluder; two granddaughters, Dena Davis (Wade), and Janice Hall (Tim); five great-grandchildren, Jade Davis, Sam Davis (Amanda), Bradley Hall, Nathan Hall, and Jesse Hall.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 19 ^th , 2022 at 2 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Davis officiating. Interment will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 19 ^th from 10 AM until 2 PM at the funeral home.
