Mrs. Edna Deloris Wright, age 72 of Ellijay, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Wright was born on July 27, 1951 in Lamar County, Barnesville to the late Dock Young and the late Nell Lockabee Young. She was a Pharmacist Tech for Riverside Drugs of Ellijay. Deloris was a proud grandmother of eight and one great-granddaughter. She was hardworking and loved fishing in Florida with her family. In addition to her parents, Deloris is preceded in death son, Bobby Anderson; two brothers, John Young and Buck Young; and sister, Helen Sevcheck.

Survivors include: her loving husband, Bobby Wright; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry (Sheila) Wright; four sisters, Barbara Wright, Wilma Holt, Faye Cruse, and Glenda Corbin; eight grandchildren, Thomas "Tommy Toe" (Sonia Meletios) Wright, Matthew Wright, Eric Rogers, Wolve Wright, Allie Wilson, Nichole Rogers, Erica Rogers, and Tori Rogers, and one great-grandchild, Jolene Logan also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with inurnment in the Yukon Cemetery.
