Mrs. Dolores "Dee" Laverne Stanfield age 83 of Ellijay, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Mrs. Stanfield was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 9, 1941. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Victor Dobson and Maizie Belle Vandervery Dobson; a sister, Viola Burtner, and brothers, Lawrence, Henry, and Virgil Dobson.

Mrs. Stanfield was associated with Ellijay City Church.

Mrs. Stanfield is survived by her husband of 65 years Ron Stanfield of Ellijay; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Stanfield will be held Tuesday, February 25th at 11:00 am from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Quigley officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm in the Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, GA with Rev. Jerry Cross officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25th from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
