Donna Kay Solar, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on August 20, 2025 at her home.

Born to the late Donald Ferguson, Donna's life was one of unwavering love and service to others. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Johnathon David Solar and Shane Santee Osborne, who she now joins in eternal peace.

She leaves behind her husband, David Earl Solar; her daughter, Rebecka Dawn Solar; her son-in-law, Dillard Aaron Carnegie; and her adored grandchildren, David, Hailey, Gavin, Chase, and Lacie Solar. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she poured her heart into every moment with them.

Donna was truly the heart of her home. She was known for her wonderful cooking, crafting and making cookies for every occasion—birthdays, holidays, and even just because—spreading joy with her sweet treats and thoughtful nature. She spent countless hours planning and preparing for family gatherings, making sure every detail was perfect so that those she loved most could simply enjoy being together.

Her legacy is one of love, devotion, and selflessness. Donna lived to take care of others, devoting her time, her energy, and her heart to her wonderful grandchildren, who brought her the greatest joy of all.
