Mrs. Dorothy Mae Brawner Fowler, age 82 of Chatsworth, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at the Advent Health Gordon Hospital.

Mrs. Fowler was born on June 22nd, 1942 in Gilmer County to the late Otto Brawner and the late Irene Coffey Brawner. She was a hairdresser and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Ellijay, GA.

She is survived by her three sons, Sheldon Roy, Scott Tyrell, and Shawn Christopher; two sisters, Opal Fendley Huggins and Jeanette Usserry, 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Nathaniel Fry officiating. Graveside Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Dorothy Fowler.
