Mr. Douglas Terry Davis, age 70 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 23 ^rd , 2022 Pruit Healthcare in Blue Ridge.

Mr. Davis was born in Gilmer County on April 17 ^th , 1952 to the late Jasper Davis and Nina Davis. He was employed by Mohawk and was a member of the Flat Branch Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde Davis, J.P. Davis, and Bobby Davis.

Survivors include: one son, Joshua (Heather) Davis; one brother, Elijah (Eva) Davis, and four grandchildren, Luke (Victoria), Kimi (MH), Abbi, and Amber Lynne.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 25 ^th , 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Emuel Sanford and Rev. Franklin Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mitchell Davis, Lowell Davis, Ricky Wimpey, Lee Parks, Zach Brown, and James Lanning.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 24 ^th , 2022 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family is accepting food and flowers in memory of Mr. Davis.
