Mr. Dwain Darnell Mulkey, age 96 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 14th, 2025.

Mr. Mulkey was born on February 22nd, 1929 in Ellijay, GA to the late Lesley Darnell Mulkey and Lula Tatum Mulkey. Mr. Mulkey was a front-end loader for Georgia Marble and was a member of the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mulkey is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Mulkey; son, David Mulkey, and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his son, Mitchell Mulkey of Ellijay, GA; daughter, Linda Stanfield of Ellijay, GA; 8 grandchildren, Chad Stanfield, Trevor Stanfield, David Mulkey, Michelle Mulkey, Lesley Mulkey, Jenni Mulkey, Daniel Mulkey, and Jacop Sherill, and 5 great-grandchildren, Brantley Stanfield, Elora Stanfield, Riley Mulkey, Jasmine Mulkey, Amber Collins, Rachel Merrell and Deanna Nichols.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mr. Mulkey will be held on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Smith officiating. Congregational singing will be led by Elder Smith. Graveside Interment will follow in the N.R. Mooney Sr. Memorial Gardens. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Chad Stanfield, Trevor Stanfield, David Mulkey, Jacop Sherill, Randall Mulkey, and Gary Prather.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food and flowers will be accepted in memory of Mr. Dwain Darnell Mulkey.
