Beth, age 77 of Ellijay, GA, peacefully passed on February 7th, 2026 at home with her husband of 33 years at her side.

She was born in Dearborn, Michigan on 26 January 1949 to Dede Sanderson and Elmer Sanderson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Robin Gentile of Ellijay, sister Virginia "Gina" Puckett of Griffin, a niece and nephew, a grandniece and grandnephews.

Beth was a lifelong educator, receiving an Education degree from NGC and a Master's in Special Education from UGA. During her education career, she taught K-12, Special Ed, ESL and adult education. While living overseas, she taught in International schools with students of various nationalities. When her MS advanced to the point that she didn't feel comfortable being responsible for a roomful of students she started tutoring. She finished up her career teaching at the Gilmer Learning Center and served a number of years as its director. She was happiest when she was teaching.

To honor her wishes, she was cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
