Ms. Ellen Renee Teems Parks, age 62 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA.

Ms. Parks was born on June 22nd, 1963 in Ellijay, GA to the late Felton Lake Teems and the late Lacie Tackett Teems. She was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church of Ellijay, GA.

She is survived by her daughter, Kayla Renee Parks; significant other, William Buckner of Ellijay, GA, and sister and brother-in-law, Lynn (Eddie) Alred of Ellijay, GA.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., noon, from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Rebecca Conn will perform vocals. A private family interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 12:00 p.m.

The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers and food, all donations be made to the Bernhardt Funeral Home @ 163 River Street Ellijay, GA, 30540 to help with the final expenses.
