Mrs. Ellen Margaret Winekoff passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, December 25, 2022, in Ellijay, GA.

Mrs. Winekoff was born on September 4, 1954, in Wiesbaden, Germany to Hans and Erika Stroh. Mrs. Winekoff loved helping others and her careers as an EMT and Pharmacy Tech reflected that. Ellen was a private person yet was loved by all who came in contact with her. She will be remembered for her selflessness and her love for God and others.

She is preceded in death by her father Hans Eugen Stroh, and Sister-in-law, Silvia Stroh.

Family members left behind are: her husband Jim Winekoff; mother, Erika Stroh; sister and brother-in-law, Sigrid and Kim Belden; sister, Heidrun Tullius; brother and sister-in-law, Peter Stroh and Edeltraut, son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Winekoff; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen and Erik Marrell, and Candace and AJ Adams; nephews and nieces-in-law, Dirk and Melissa Stroh, and Patrick Stroh and Vanessa Hannappel as well as nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in both the United States and Germany.

To honor Mrs. Winekoff's wishes she has been cremated and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date and time.
