Mr. Eric Marvin Smith, age 45 of Talking Rock, GA, passed on Sunday, January 11, 2025.

Eric was born in Ellijay, GA, on March 25, 1980, to the late Marvin Smith and Marselle Smith (Richards). He worked in the Logging Business. He also loved to Fish and Hunt.

Survivors include: sisters, Jennifer Smith, Talking Rock, and Sherry Metcalf, Dade County Ga; Aunts and uncles, Joann and Clinton Jones, Wilma Lee Chastain, and Kenneth Richards; nephew, Brent Payne; special friends, Tammy Jo Southerland and Buffie Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 14th, at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donny Fountain, Dennis Ponders, Cody Fountain, J J Cantrell, Joey Priest, and Jim Bob Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Brent Payne.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 14th, from 11:00 am until 3:30 pm at the funeral home.
