Mrs. Ernesteen Reece Clark, age 89 of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Clark was born on February 8 ^th , 1933 in Gilmer County to the late Arthur Reece and Dester Burrell Reece. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church, in Ellijay. Mr. and Mrs. Clark bought the Clark Family Farm on Big Creek Road when he retired from Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta and moved back home to Ellijay. They enjoyed living in Ellijay after so many years gone and loved spending time with their family on the farm.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Clark; one son Wendell Lewis Clark, four brothers, Howard Reece, Everett Reece, Hoke Reece, Hollis Reece; four sisters, Frankie Ellis, Catherine Taylor, Christine Garland, and Sadie Bryan; one grandchild, Jason Sullivan Pierce, and one great grandchild, Jacob Tanner Searcy.

Survivors include: two daughters, Carolyn Pierce and Marty Baxter both of Ellijay, GA; four grandchildren; Melisa Searcy, Amanda (Adam) Deboard, Kayla Baxter (Jason Chastain), and Brent (Bridgett) Pierce; ten great-grandchildren, Tyler Searcy (Memorie Swinney) Angel Searcy, Lucas Searcy, Morgan Deboard, Darrin Deboard, Ellie Chastain, Gabrien Pierce, Grayson Pierce, Gunner Pierce, Graylynn Pierce. and one great great grandchild, Emma Lee Searcy also survives.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearer's include: Keith Holloway, Tyler Searcy, Scott Garland, Adam Deboard, Lucas Searcy, and Brent Pierce.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family is accepting flowers; however, they respectfully ask that no food be brought to the funeral home.
